Can the concentration of Midazolamsyrup change after 3 weeks?

Our Pediatrics department thinks that the children of the lower of the vial of Midazolamsyrup sleep longer. Every 3 weeks they get a new bottle. Does it concern here and should I mention ' Shake VR gebr ' or turn the midazolam into something Star Cherry (together with Liga Cé)? The VPK do not see anything sagging. It's about R/midazolam 30ml (50mg/10ml for this we use Mini Placos, these are already dissolved), Conc Liga Cé syrup 20ml and Aqua Conservans 25ml.

Answer

According to the literature the pH plays a very important role. The pH, which is recommended   = 3.6. From a pH = 4 it forms Midzolam, which precipitates. The Miniplasco, which you are going to assume, will possess this pH. The question, which is set, is whether a pH change occurs when adding Liga Cé. In order not to make a drastic change in the wording, with which one is familiar,     I suggest in your hospital looking for a pH meter (clinical lab or another?) and to determine the pH of your syrup. You can also try it with a pH indicator strip if the color of your fruit juice does not disturb you. Moreover, a strip is less accurate anyway. Should a pH adjustment toward acid be necessary then you can best rely on citric acid, which you add step by step in small amounts of 50 mg.   about the shelf life of the beverage is discord. One speaks of 14 days but I would limit to 1 month when storing in the fridge;
