Ciloxan & De-icol ear drops, solution crystallizes out after 2 nights of preservation in the Frigo.

Answer

The composition of the Icol is:     dexamethasone sodium phosphate 1mg-chloramphenicol 4mg – for 1 ml   and     Boric acid – Sodium tetraborate 10 H 2 O-methylparahydroxybenzoate-purified water

The composition of Ciloxan is:   1 ml solution contains 3 mg ciprofloxacin (as hydrochloride); h Ulpstof with known effect: 1 ml solution contains 0.06 mg Benzalkonium chloride.

List of excipients  :   Benzalkonium chloride Dinatriumedetaat Mannitol Sodium acetate Acetic acid   hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide (for pH setting) purified water

When the various constituents are overtaken, there are various incompatibilities dexametasone phosphate, Benzalkonium +, ciprofloxacineH +, which lead to ion pairs, which Presumably depending on their molecular weight can be water insoluble and presumably crystallize when stored in refrigerator

Therefore most likely incompatible because if the crystallization is accelerated in the fridge, it can occur in the longer term at room temperature.
