Codeinephosphate 240 mg, promethazine Hcl 230 mg, Tolusyrup 90 ml, grenadine syrup 10 ml

We dissolve codeinephosphate and Promethazine Hcl together in 10 ml of water and add 0.5% Vitamin C (normally it is 0.1%). Everything is solved. We add Tolubalm geconcentr. Syrup (9ml) and this becomes a white solution. This remains cloudy after adding Sirupus simplex. Can we remedy this?

Answer

I would just change the order of blending slightly. The possible candidates, who could provoke a reaction with one of the many ingredients of   Tolu, I would dilute with as large a quantity as possible   Sirupus simplex. And only then add the 9 ml Tolu decuplex syrup.
