A cream with erythromycin 1g in Beeler base ad 50g, buffered with borate buffer at pH = 8.6.

Normally, one does not mix erythromycin with buffered CETOMACROGOLCR è me. I only own the composition of a phosphate buffer.

Answer

Erythromycin gives in solution a fairly high of pH so that we add a little acid before. In this way you also get a kind of buffer system.
You can use the following composition:
R/erythromycin 1g
anhydrous Citric acid 60mg or 12g of a 0.5% solution (more accurately)
Beeler base up to 50g
