Discoloration with Next cream

Following formula Discolours Brown after 1 week: Promethazine HCl 200mg Triamcinolone 10mg Methylprednisolone 10mg Neomycin sulfate 100mg Lanettewascrème AD 40g I don't know which is the most ideal base for this cream. Promethazine HCl is best converted to Promethazine in an of basis. Neomycin sulfate reacts again with the lanettewascrème.

Answer

To begin with, triamcinolone should be replaced by Triamcinolonacetonide. Lannettewas Cream is incompatible with neomycin sulfate. Therefore, the lanettewax cream should   be   replaced by a non-ionogenic cream. In dissolved form, Promethazine is not stable and discolours. Therefore, the hydrochloride is transformed into the base.

We recommend that you make a cetomacrogol cream without phosphate buffer and add to this cream 0.1% after metabisulfite. After rubbing all the medicines with this cream, 425 mg of Trormetamol is added immediately.

The storage of the cream is limited to 2 months. The discoloration must be followed. Storage is preferably in the refrigerator.
