Do you have a formula for the preparation of observed suspension for pediatrics (Loco of Furadantine pediatry)?

Answer

composition
R/Nitrofurantoine "Macrocrystalline" 0420 g
microcrystalline cellulose with carmellose sodium (*) 2.10 g
Glycerol 7.0 g
Banana Aroma 3 drops
Water for preservation Z.A.N. to 70 ml (= 71 g)

(*) 52.5 g Of the 4% aqueous dispersion (disperse with a mixer for 3 minutes at room temperature): 4 G microcrystalline cellulose and sodium carmellose-Avicel RC 581-in 96 g water for preservation; Weigh 52.5 g of this dispersion for the realization of the preparation.

Preparation method
bring in a tarred bottle of 100 ml 52.5 g of the 4% aqueous dispersion of microcrystalline cellulose and sodium carmellose, 7 g glycerol and 3 drops of banana aroma. Shake to mix.
Add 0.42 G observed "Macrocrystalline" and homogenize under moderate shaking.
apply to 70 ml (= 71 g) with water for preservation.

Note
a too strong shaking gives a risk of breaking down the "Macrocrystalline" agglomerates of observed and the occurrence of undesirable side effects.
Composition and method of preparation will appear in the second part of the TMF. The preparation is a little classical method. But this has to do with the story of the Macrocrystals. Although the original brand preparation probably also had little to detect from macrocrystals and this because of their fragility, which does not survive a good suspensionpreparation. So here too, macrocrystals are unlikely to be found much. But it's an attempt.
