Do you have a formula for a suspension of Ebixa tablets?

A patient of on takes Ebixa droplets but these are lacking at present. She cannot swallow tablets and so we need to make a suspension of these tablets. Do you have a formula for this?

Answer

I find that memantine HCl is very well soluble in water and consequently I think it may be possible to make a solution by extracting the active ingredient from crushed   tablets with 30 ml of water of +/-50 ° C. We filter out the insoluble     constituents. The rest on the filter can be rinsed twice with 15   ml of warm water. In the Fitraat you dissolve 35   g sorbitol together with 150 mg ksorbate   and replenishes with water up to 100 ml.
