In the execution of the following regulation, the cream was fairly liquid. Can we remedy this? Salicylic Acid 2 G Efudix ointment 20 g

Composition Efudix Ointment: Fluorouracil 5g, propylene glycol, polysorbit. Monostear., stearyl alcohol, Vaselin, Nipagin-Nipasol, Aqua Pro 100g

Answer

I note that we have to do with an O/W cr è me based on a certain Tween. As you have guessed, salicylic acid, which is found here in high concentration, is the culprit. After all salicylic acid may be incompatible with PEG derivatives like the Tweens. Personally I would add 125 to 250 mg Nalauryl sulfate Given this emulsifier is less susceptible to salicylic acid.
