How can I increase the solubility of caffeine (S = 1g/60ml) in the following preparation that I get this solved? Ephedrine 14.5 mg/ml caffeine 145 mg/ml DT 30 ml

< br/> acidifying with e.g. citric acid is not sufficient, each time a gel-like precipitation is formed

Answer

I suspect that with the addition of an equal quantity of nabenzate the caffeine is to dissolve. According to Martindale, 125 mg of caffeine is in solution with 125 mg of nabenzate. I hope the same succeeds for 145 mg Coffeine?
