How do I best make next ear drops? Triamcinolone acetonide 20mg Salicylic Acid 20mg ethanol 2ml chlorhexidinedigluconate 0.05% AD 10 ml

Everything does not dissolve well and there are & #039; oil & #039;-like specks to see, presumably coming from the Chlorhexidinedigluconate 20% solution. The obtained ear drops are also liquid. Is a viscetious solution any better? I need to use a chlorhexidine solution of 0.05%; I prepared this from a 20% solution and diluted with water.

Answer

In the NF 6 there is a composition with 200mg salicylic acid and 10mg triamcinolonacetonide. The solvent is ethanol of 70 °. In your composition there is 20mg triamcinolonacetonide. So I expect that in your composition no water can occur. Possibly lost in alcohol 70 ° everything on? Optionally, you can take alcohol-propylene glycol 1:1 as a solvent. The prescribed amount of chlorhexidinedigluconate should be replaced by chlorhexidinediacetate.
