How do I make a hypo-allergic electrode gel?

A physiotherapist has asked me to make a hypo-allergic electrode gel. She apparently has a Pati ë NT under treatment that reacts to propylene glycol.

through a dermatologist I have come to the following formulation:

sodium chloride 1%
sodium CMC 1.6%
sorbitol OPL 40%
Aqua AD 100%
The physiotherapist would have liked to have had a gel with a high viscosity. Will I just increase the concentration of NaCMC?]

We have made several compositions in order to finally come to the next formula of a CMC-gel without propylene glycol:

Nacl 2%
after CMC (1505) 5.5%
sorbitol powder 28%
Aqua AD 100%
