How to make best: LCD 10 g urea 3 G cold cream ad 100 g

The urea was dissolved in equal quantity of water, and in mortar together with LCD mixed with cold cream (alpha Farma). Is another solution possible, because stability Is not really optimal?

Answer

It amazers me that the stability of your CR è me is not good because the cold cream used is a stabilized cooling ointment but apparently the O/W Emulgatorische properties of LCD still exceed those of the W/O emulsifier sorbitanisostearate present In the cold cream. Therefore, I suggest the LCD to dry vapours in a tarred dish and to rub the evaporative residue with starch until the original weight of 10 g is recovered. Urea can be rubbed into fine powder with this mixture and then this new mixture is thoroughly rubbed with part of the cold cream. The rest of the cold cream is gradually added. After a few hours urea will be dissolved in the internal water phase of the W/O cr è me. In this way we avoid the addition of extra water, which may not promote stability.
