Ichtyol, moistened with propylene glycol (PG), is not nice to mix with cetomacrogolcr è me; We obtain a grainy whole with visible parts Ichtyol. I thought there was little difference in the wetting properties of PG and glycerol?

I would not dare to say this. Ichtyol is soluble in glycerin. There is nothing to find about the solubility in propylene glycol. So maybe use best glycerol.
