I am having difficulties in processing products such as Furosemide or riboflavin in pure form in Gelulen. These powders have electrostatic charges, which makes it difficult to divide correctly.

Add a suitable resource? < br/>

Answer

Indeed you can best add an antistatic agent: 0.1 to 0.2% Aerosil 200. The homogeneous blending of Aerosil is almost impossible without seven! It is advisable to add lactose (or mannitol starch, see pharmacists leaf) (together with the antistatitic) and optionally use a slightly larger size gelules. In addition to these measures, the device must also be very clean and it should also be ensured that all the capsules are equally deep in relation to the top plate on which the powder is sprinkled. The base plate should be added as appropriate.
