Mouthwash sodium Floride 0.05% Lemon spiritus 20 dr Carmine Red 10mg. What is the function of carmine red?

I suspect that the dye has to do with the check whether the mouth was thoroughly washed, possibly the teeth well polished. Most mouthwash agents are slightly colored. Personally I would not use Carmine red but prefer after erythrosine.
