Chloramphenicol is soluble in a mixture of boric acid, but the amount of borax is clearly too low; Increase the amount of borax to 90 mg.
There is apparently also an incompatibility with phenylmercuriborate; Replace this product with Benzalkonium chloride 1 on 10,000.
