Preparation for gastro Enterologist with Syngel and Flixotide

Recipe of Gastro Enterologist: 2 bottles of Syngel mix with 10 vials of Flixotide in 4 small bottles

Answer

Here the compositions

Syngel

The active substances in 1 coffee spoon (5 ml) are: Magnesium hydroxide: 200 mg-Magnesium carbonate and aluminium hydroxide (Codried gel): 125 mg – Magnesium Trisilicate: 125 mg-Lidocaine hydrochloride: 12.5 mg. The other ingredients are: Sorbitol (E420)-Hydroxyethylcellulose-Ethanol (0,21% P/V)-Chlorhexidine diacetate-Sodium saccharin-Sorbitol – Anethol.

Flixotide

What substances are in Flixotide?

The active substance is fluticasone propionate. The other ingredients are:   polysorbate 20, sorbitaanlaurate, monosodium phosphate dihydrate, anhydrous phosphate, sodium chloride, water for injections.

There may be a stability problem ziine there I suspect that Syngel has an of PH and fluticasone propionate can be hydrolyzed with formation of Fluticason. This may not be a big problem. But THE question, which poses is the stability of flticasone in the Alcalisch middle. I cannot find any information about this because this circumstance does not occur in the commercialised products.

We can only take care to minimize possible degradation as much as possible. You must ask your customer to store the four bottles in the refrigerator and only open and use 1 bottle. After use, the opened bottle is put back into the refrigerator.
