Preparation of a loco for Naprosyne syrup

How do we prepare the prescription: Naprosyne 3.6 g; Sirupus aurantii AD 100 ml

Answer

If we follow the prescription Strictly then we prepare:   naproxen 3.6 g rub with the syrup.

for info I let you know that I found the following composition in the literature:

naproxen 3.6 g; Bentonite 4 G, sugar syrup and sorbitol 70% AA 30 g; NaCl 780 mg; Citric acid 650 mg Nipagine 200 mg; Water up to 100 ml.

Two things jump in the eye:

1. Presence of NaCl: presumably for the taste

2. Presence of citric acid: in order to reduce the dissociation   (and solubility) of naproxen and of course also as taste corrigens.
