Prescription for next preparation: Minerals 30mg/ml DT 100 ml

The mama says she has received a preparation from the hospital and that it is a thick white mash that she must shake well

Answer

We have to go for this preparation of minerals tablets of 300 mg. The composition of these tablets is:     the active substance is ursodesoxycholic acid, 300 mg per tablet. And the other substances in This medicine is lactose monohydrate, Crospovidone, Povidone and   magnesium stearate.

The composition of a commercialised minerals suspension looks like this:   benzoeic, citric acid anh., glycerin, Avicel RC, NaCl, after citrate, after cyclamate, Prpoyleenglycol, xylitol, Lime aroma   and water

There appear in the Tablets 2 soil stoofen, which swell in water, it may not be consulted to add any thickening agent to make the suspension not too viscous.

As a vehicle for this suspension we can use a vehicle for suspensions from the USP, from which we remove the thickening agent.  :   nasaccharinate   200 mg, potassium sorbate   150 mg, citric acid   100 mg, sorbitol 2.0 g , mannitol   2 G and water up to 100 ml.
