A shampoo with chlorhexidine 1% in basic shampoo simplex 200ml does not succeed

We only have chlorhexidine digluconate or acetate; Chlorhexidine base is not available. Is there a solution?

Answer

Plantapon 611 C contains both an anionic, an amphoteric and   a non-Ionogen tenside. In the presence of chlorhexidine Digluc or Diacet. The first two   are out of the question. It could be considered to prepare   a shampoo with Tween 80. One should test out a small amount or a 30% Tween 80 solution in water sufficiently foams. A product like Comperlan KD or even better OD can be added as eg in the original formula of shampoo simplex (see Galenic Formularium)
