Is there a validated formula for syrup with propranolol?

Usually propranolol is administered as water-soluble hydrochloride in the form of a solution 5 mg/ml  

The composition, which can be used is: propranololHCl 500 mg; potassium sorbate 150 mg; citric acid anh. 70 mg; orange peel syrup BP V 40 g and water up to 100 ml (= 110 g)
