Question
Posted on: March 6 2013Ung emuls (30g ung emuls and 70g water) remains very liquid (after 3 times again warming up and cooling off) and from that one adds the salicylic acid, the ointment will discolour rose!! Any idea how this can be solved?
Answer
- that your ung Emusificnas remains very fluid (without salicylic acid, I mean to understand (?)) is NOT normal! Poorly emulsified. Can't use a mixer?
- I would start adding 1% after EDTA for discoloration.
- I suppose that you make use of Lanette SX or N for the preparation of Ung Aquosum. According to OJ V, GE uses 9g. I suggest to use 18g. This means 9g water less.
Prepare 100g cream First, rub and mix the powders into a mortar and gradually apply small portions of 90g cream into the mortar at the powder mixture.
