Ung emuls (30g ung emuls and 70g water) remains very liquid (after 3 times again warming up and cooling off) and from that one adds the salicylic acid, the ointment will discolour rose!! Any idea how this can be solved?

Answer

  1. that your ung Emusificnas remains very fluid (without salicylic acid, I mean to understand (?)) is NOT normal! Poorly emulsified. Can't use a mixer?

  2. I would start adding 1% after EDTA for discoloration.

  3. I suppose that you make use of Lanette SX or N for the preparation of Ung Aquosum. According to OJ V, GE uses 9g. I suggest to use 18g. This means 9g water less.

Prepare 100g cream First, rub and mix the powders into a mortar and gradually apply small portions of 90g cream into the mortar at the powder mixture.
