We do not succeed in suppositories with Collargol 10mg, chestnut dry extr 10mg, Ergotaminetartraat 1mg per suppository, prepare.

We followed the preparation method for Collargol suppositories of the TMF. But the obtained mass was not to pour because of too fast clotting of the mixture. Warming back does not go because then the mixture is no longer homogeneous.

Answer

If I analyse the composition, then I think you cannot apply the TMF method. I would work dry and rub Cameron very finely with a 10-fold amount of lactose, the same for the chestnut extract, and with ergotamine you use a dilution anyway. This mixture is then rubbed with part of the melted suppository mass and this mixture is then added to the residual molten suppository mass. Keep in mind the amount of lactose you added, when calculating the amount of duty mass to be weighed.
