What is the expiration date of a cream with Tretinoin? Both at KT and COOL gladly.

Answer

It is not easy to answer this question as the publications, which have appeared on this matter, give me the impression that the stability of Tretino ï NE is partly determined by the composition of the CR è me or the ointment in which this product is Processed.

the DAC-NRF publishes a Tretino ï ne cr è me with three different concentrations to Tretino ï ne being 0.025%, 0.05% and 0.1%. The CR è Mebasis used has the following composition:

glycerol monostearate 4.0 g
cetyl alcohol 6.0 g
miglyole 7.5 g
White Vaseline 25.5 g
Peg-400-monostearate 7.5 g
Prpoyleenglycol 10.0 g
Water up to 100g
the composition of the Tretinoin cr è me is
Tretino ï ne (micro fine) 0.025 g or 0.05 g or 0.1 g
Butylhydroxytoluol 2% solution 2.0 G
CR è mebasis up to 100g
the composition of the Butylhydroxytoluol solution is
Butylhydroxytoluol 2.0 g
fluid B. Paraffin 98.0 g

stability
The breakdown of Tretino ï ne by light, oxygen, elevated temperature, whether or not in Solution as well as to promote extreme pH values. Good stability occurs in strong acid center where in Alcalisch middle the molecule dissects. The stability of the CR è Knife described above is 1 year when stored in the refrigerator. The use mine is limited to 3 months and this also when stored in the refrigerator. Storage data at room temperature is not available.
