Which excipient for a bacitracin containing CR è me?

formula:
R/bacitracin 10 kE
neomycin Sulf 250 mg
Prednisolone 100 mg
image base ad 50g
neomycin sulfate if cationic substance is incompatible with Beeler basis and efficacy would also be affected by Tween 80. The activity of bacitracin would be backwards in combination with Macrogol.

as a basis for processing these assets can we possibly assume the formula of Nebacetine ointment? (Contains liquid paraffin, cetyl alcohol, wool grease, white Vaseline and PEG-20 glyceryloleate). However, are there any alternatives to PEG-20 glyceryloleate that are usable in the pharmacy?

Answer

With the incompatibility with Tween 80 little consideration is given to the composition of Nebacetine ointment, which also contains a PEG or macrowave derivative. With the present available excipients I think you will have to focus your choice on Cetomacrogol 1000 or Tween 80. With a slight preference for the latter.
