Which method is best followed for: Triamcinolone acetonide 120 mg Neomycinesulf 840 mg Propylene glycol 10 ml ethanol 60 ° AD 120 ml

TRIAMC OPL in ethanol; Neomyc in prop/water; Both opl are bright but when blending white milky OPL

Answer

First a comment with TRIAMC do you mean the acetonide anyway? In the composition state, alcohol of 60 ° and therein is triamcinolone acetonide not soluble

There are several possibilities as solution:

  1. you wish the best: a clear solution

I can not find much about the solubility of Triam Acet but it could well be that PG is a better solvent. If you still have the milky liquid, see what happens when you add 10 ml of PG.

is a first method of doing all water. So you bring in a size glass the two drugs and add PG and the alcohol. Then you start to add water gently and from when a cloudy one adds 5 ml of extra alcohol and then again water to cloudy, again alcohol and again water to 120 ml

you can of course follow the same procedure with PG.

  2. A Suspension is also good

then you have to add 0.1% Carbopol 974 P and I think basically make still succeed with Trometamol or TRIS
