1) to stabilize adrenaline, what's best: sodium metabisulfite or EDTA? And how much?
2) as a preservative: can I just use aqua Conservans?
3) How long can the preparation be stored?
4) should it be an isotonic preparation?

R/ Cocaine HCl 5 g; Boric acid 0, 4 g; Benzalkonium chloride solution 50% 0.02 g; NA2 EDTA 0.1 g; Nametabisulfite 0.1 g , adrenaline 0.1% 20 drops and freshly boiled and cooled purified water ad 100 g
This solution contains an anti-oxidance and metal-complexing constituent for the stability of adrenaline. In addition also a preservative employed at pH = 4.5
The Benzalkonium chloride solution can also be prepared in a lower concentration so that a tradeable quantity is possible if a smaller (recommended) quantity of 20 ml is Prepare.
