Advice on following shampoo: Salicylic acid 10% liq carb det 5% Physiogel shampo

Physiogel shampoo cnk 1682-368 250ml composition:
Aqua, sodium cocoamphoacetate, etidronate disodium cocoamphodiacetate, Sodium laureth. Sulfate, Polysorbate 20, PEG-120 methyl glucose dioleate, methyl gluceth-20, citric-acid.
Is this shampo as a basis sufficient to process both products? Or can I better add macrogol 1000 to bring the salicylic acid into solution first?

Answer

In the literature it is described that for the dissolution of Salicylic acid in shampoo & #039; s is best used of Cetomacrogol 1000. As a large amount of salicylic acid occurs here, minimum 25g Cetomacrogol 1000 will be required. This is melted and the liquid is first added salicylic acid and then the LCD. If the shampoo is not clear, the amount of cetomacrogol will need to be increased.
