Answer

For the most frequently used active substances, stability studies are indeed conducted (in cooperation with Belgian universities). The results of these studies are summarized in the table below:

Acid stable API

Acid sensitive API

Baclofen (2–10 mg/mL):

pH4 Liquid 500 mL
180 days (RT)

Dexamethasone (1 mg/mL):

pH4 Liquid 500 mL
180 days (RT)

Hydrocortisone (1 mg/mL):

pH4 Liquid 500 mL
180 days (RT)

Metronidazole (50 mg/mL):

pH4 Liquid 500 mL
180 days (RT)

Trimethoprim (10 mg/mL):

pH4 Liquid 500 mL
60 days (RT)

Vancomycine HCl (25-50 mg/mL):

pH4 Liquid 500 mL
180 days (fridge)

Furosemide (10 mg/mL):

pH4 Liquid 500 mL + NaHCO3
90 days  (RT)

Furosemide (10 mg/mL):

Alkalic dry
60 days (fridge)

Omeprazole (2-5 mg/mL):

pH4 Liquid 500 mL + NaHCO3
60 days (fridge)

Omeprazole (2-5 mg/mL):

Alkalic dry
60 days (fridge)
