Conversion quantity calcium carbonate to calcium citrate

Woman who has to take "Steovit D3 1000mg/880IU" but has undergone gastrectomy and also takes on Pantomed. We had thought to give calcium citrate because it is absorbed independently of the pH. In Steovit D3, 1gr calcium is contained In calcium carbonate (2.5 gr). After lookup in Merck Index, 2.5 g of calcium carbonate would correspond to approximately 12.5 g of calciumcitrate. According to MFF, 1g carbonate is equivalent to barely 5g citrate. What is right now?

Answer

I'm going out that the product is crystal water free.
Cacarbonaat contains 40% elemental Ca and cacitrate 21%; So we can say that 2.5 g carbonate corresponds to 5g citrate.
