Dosage Nystatin + Incompatibility

I have doubts about the dosage of Nystatin in following preparation: Betamethasonedipropionate 21mg; Nystatin 8ME; Zinc oxide 5g; Arlacel 6g White Vaseline 30g; Purified water AD 100g Dt 300g At 300g this gives 24 ME, seems to me the 10-fold of what is common? Also, I read in previous posts already about ZnO-nystatin incompatibility, quid?

P. p1 {margin: 0.0 px 0.0 px 0.0 px 0.0 px; font: 40.0 px Arial; color: #474747;-webkit-Text-stroke: #474747} span. s1 {font-kerning: none} Nystatin Dosage Applies to the following strength (s): 200000 units; 500000 units; 100000 units/mL; 1 billion units; 2 billion units; 150 million units; 50 million units; 500 million units; 1 million units; 100 million units   incompatibility   ZnO is not designated neither for Nystatin nor for Betamethasone Dipropionate. A water-free ointment would already give a great improvement. However, the dissolution of corticosteroid esters was also demonstrated under the influence of ZnO in anhydrous middle. But for a magistal preparation might be acceptable anyway. Which must be consumed within 2 months. Store in the refrigerator to recommend. For Nystatin the absence of water is necessary thus not reacts ZnO with the sour carboxyl function. See "Someone experience with Nystatin in ZnO paste". The removal of ZnO from the composition is of course the ideal procedure. A replacement by TiO2 can be considered.
