How do I best prepare a nasal solution with next composition? Ephedrine HCL 75 mg Naphazoline HCl 20 mg beclomethasone diprop. 10 mg after sulfacetamide 60 mg cetrimide 0.01%

Physiologically Serum AD 10 ml < br/> Here is supposedly the poor solubility of beclomethasone the cause of the clouding. However, I have tried with several things to keep the solution somewhat stable, such as adding tween or tween + span or avicel (gives problems of blockage of any spray) or even by lowering the acidity to PH = 5, but all the attemps were without satisfactory results.

Answer

A solution preparation is not possible, it must be a suspension. Personally, I would use a low viscous methyl cellulose or hydroxyethylcellulose for this. I suspect that Beclomethasone propionate will be sufficiently fine and thus one can confine itself to a concentration of 0.25 to 0.5% if necessary 1 drop tween to take care of the humidification. This should be the matter; The other medicinal products are soluble in water.
