According to the Martindale, the water-soluble Prednisolone sodium phosphate is also used for Prednisolone in oral form in addition to the Prednisolone. Can prednisolone then be replaced by prednisolone sodium phosphate? < br/>

This should but should not. Using semipolar solvents It is possible to dissolve Prednisolone, which offers the advantage of knowing better stability as the phosphatestersalt. The latter is used more for injectable forms.
