How to prepare, Vaseline-Cetomacrogol cream with following composition: White Vaseline 60g buffered Cetomacrogol Cream ad 300g

In Most pharmacies, the petroleum jelly is simply rubbed under the CETOMACROGOLCR è me, but the result is not really high quality. In Another method, the molten Vaseline is added to the CETOMACROGOLCR è me via geometrical dilution. Then the preparation is then taken again by the ointment mill. Personally, I would, the required amount of CETOMACROGOLCR è prepare me than to add that CR è me the petroleum jelly. But can the petroleum jelly just be attached to the fat phase? Or should it also be compensated by adding more emulsifier or weighing less of the other components of the original fat phase?

Answer

My personal preference goes in the direction of your method.
you have so 240g CETOMACROGOLCR è prepare me and this contains Cetomacrogol ZEW 21.6 g, fat phase 50.4 g and water phase 168g.
In Your preparation is the fat phase = 60g + 50g = 110g. Plus or minus a doubling. Logically, the amount of Cetomacrogol ZEW is then +/-40g. And consequently the water phase = 150g.
