A letter from the company Leo, following the placing on the market of Dovobet, shows that the combination of Calcipotriol (Daivonex) with Betametasone propionate "is In principle incompatible due to

Stability reasons '. Is this so? What incompatibility or does it? Is this a "Sales Struk"? < br/>

Answer

I suppose your intent is to have a repaid Dovobet by letting Daivonex add Betamethasone propionate magijet.
Now when one analyzes the composition of Daivonex OINTMENT one finds dibasically phosphate after 2 HPO 4 . Dissolved in water one obtains a pH of 9.1. While as also specified in the TMF de cortico-esters a pH questions around 5.5. In Daivonex Lotion protrudes Nacitraat and also this product gives an alkaline pH. Why those preparations were all given an alkaline pH is not known to me. Dovobet OINTMENT seems to me anhydrous. Daivonex Ointment is a W/O cr è me.
