A patient has been taking Lomusol nasal spray for years. Now that it is out of the trade, we had advised her to ask another product to the GP. That, however, had prescribed is, in our opinion, not really a good alternative. That's why we wondered if we could not make a spray based on Lomudal ampoules. And what would the composition be?
Answer
I fear that this is not possible. I seem to read that Lomudal ampoules have a concentration of 1% and Lomusol contains 4% after cromoglycate.
