Method of preparation for a solution for Transtympal administration:

R/Dexamethasone 20 mg/ml
buffered solution Gentamycin 40 mg
DT 1 ml solution, Transtympanale Administration
< BR/>

Answer

This is not an everyday requirement in which the price of the raw materials does not simplify the matter. Normally I would suggest take the adjusted amount of dexamethasone naphosphate and dissolve that in 1ml taken from an ampoule of geomycin. Given that this ampoule contains 2 ml, this proposal may be attempted once. But I fear that, given the load difference between dexametasone phosphate and gentamycin, a precipitate can occur. If this Is the case, then we should go further with dexamethasone, which we will disperse as fine powder in the residual ml. I think this may be best done in a 1 ml injection. Presumably, the insertion of the dexamethasone requires a dose of patience? The suspension can be delivered in the syringe.
