For the preparation of laxative lemonade we add Natrena tablets as sweetener. A colleague noted that preparations may only be used to process recognised raw materials. Is it not actually legal to use Natrena tablets? What alternative do you recommend?
Answer
In Natrena sweetners is acesulfame-K, saccharin and cyclamate. The first product is not to be obtained as a pharmaceutical raw material, but the second one.
