A patient requires a preparation with a composition, which is found in Germany. Lactic acid 3% urea 2% DAC base 100/200

However, We cannot find anywhere what "DAC basis" means, could you help us?

Answer

The DAC base has the following composition: Glycerol monostearate 4g; Cetyl alcohol 6g; Miglyol 7.5 g; White Vaseline 25.5 g; PEG-400 monostearate 7.5 g; Propylene glycol 10g; Water up to 100g

considering I read on the prescription 100/200 I suppose that 100g base is diluted with 100g of water.

Given PEG-400-monostearate is no longer available, I suggest replacing it with Cetomacrogol 1000.
