R/Mefenesine 10gThe whole is flowing, adding extra base does not help.

PEG 1500 40g
Carbopolgel 4% ad 100g

PEG 1500 draws all the water to itself and does the gel in each other's pockets! One could try with another gelvormer like Hydroxyethylcellulose. If this fails then I fear that the choice will have to be made between a PEG ointment or a Carbopol gel. Mephenesine is not well water soluble but I suspect that ethanol is a good solvent. And with ethanol, Carbopol is compatible.
