Pure Zinc Oxide suppository

At the request of a physician-specialist, who always used Anusol to accelerate the recovery after local radiation, a suppository containing only zinc oxide

Answer

Given zinc oxide is a hydrophilic substance, which should be divided into a mass with lipophilic properties I would opt for Suppocire ASX2 as suppository Mass. After all, this host contains a certain amount of polysorbate, which will act as a humidifier for the zinc oxide. Important is also to take into account the exceptional displacement factor, which = to 0.25 this in contrast with the value 0.6 à 0.7, which we use as average displacement factor.

The amount of ZnO in Anusol amounts to 280 mg, which we could round off at 300 mg. In order to obtain a nice distribution I would dilute the amount of ZnO with an equal amount of lactose powder. This mixture I would seven, before mixing it with the melted suppository mass. We Add, according to the mixing rules,   the melted suppository mass to the mixture ZnO-lactose!
