Question

Posted on: March 6 2013

Regularly following preparation with small variants is prescribed, however, we recently asked ourselves in the pharmacy some questions: Isosorbide (DI) nitrate 40% 1g White Vaseline 37g

Paraffin fluid B 7.5 g
wool grease 3.5 g
Aqua AD 50 g Hieromtrend I had a question: "In the pharmacy always Isosorbide- DI nitrate is used. In the Martindale, only isosorbide nitrate is reported to be used in the case of an unfit. The latter is, incidentally, a metabolite of isosorbide Dinitrate. Is there a substantial difference when using Dinitrate or Mononitrate if the latter Is still to be given. " < br/>

Answer

Soon the TMF also publishes an isosorbide ointment. I can tell you that this ointment will also be formulated with Isosorbidenitraat, the only product that I believe is available for magistal preparations. However, I have to say that the composition of the TMF will not contain water. The preparation of this ointment poses no major problems.
