Patient needs a preparation based on Methoxsalen 0.006%. No idea which ointment base is best for this preparation, both in terms of stability and intended operation (must be applied for PUVA therapy). Already

R/methoxsalan Alcoholic solution 0.01% 3 G; Base cream 23.5 g; Propylene glycol 4.7 g; Water up to 50 g
Alcoholic Methoxsala solution 0.01%: Methoxsala 10 mg; alcohol denat. Up to 100 g
Base cream: Glycerol monostearate Type II 4.0 g ; cetyl alcohol 6.0 g; Miglyol 7.5 g, Vaseline 25.5 g, PEG 400 mono stearate 7.5 g; Propylene glycol 10.0 g; Water up to 100 g
PEG-400-monostearate will not be available, replace with PEG-1000-Cetylether or Cetomacrogol 1000.
