What is the best method of preparation for Collargol 5% Suppos's?

Answer

There are several methods common to make Cameron suppositories. The problem lies in the grinding of the Collargol. The finer the more evenly the view and the greater the absence of small dots or spots on the suppositories. Personally, I am not a big supporter of adding water to partially solve the Cameron.

Two methods can be used to make the Cameron finely.

  1. The first method is the classic one in which we crush it in a mortar. Given the small amount of medicine (100 mg for suppositories of 2 G), we will also add some filler. The preference goes to Mannitol (500 mg per suppository) Given the possible interaction of lactose with non organically bound Ag. The mixture Cameron is sufficiently finely made in the mortar (first bring mannitol into the mortar!) and sieved.

  2. It is also possible to edit this mixture in a small coffee grinder where an extremely evenly colored mixture is obtained. Because of certain losses we make a slight excess mixture.
the finely-made mixture is further processed with suppository mass.
