What can I use instead of Tylose HG in next composition? Methylprednisolone 100mg Xylocaine 200mg nystatin 2.4 million units propylene glycol 10ml Tylose HG 3.5 g

Aqua destillata ad 500cc < br/> Tylose HG is not available in wholesale. Which viscosities increase is the best substitute for this? For what is the HG?

Answer

I cannot find a Tylose HG in my documentation. I do find Tylose H back and this would correspond to Hydroxyethylcellulose (HEC). This product is available in the middle viscous quality. The brand name in Belgi ë best known is Natrosol. I suspect that the prescribed amount will give a sufficient viscous solution. You can best rub the HEC with propylene glycol beforehand.
