The TMF used to indicate ethanol 96%. In A later version is spoken of isopropyl alcohol. Which is the most appropriate and why? If ethanol is used, should this be ethanol for internal use or not?
Answer
The main reason is the lower cost of isopropyl alcohol versus ethanol non-untaard, which was used in the first edition. Topical alcohol is prepared with isopropyl alcohol. So it can be used. Prices should be compared.
