Is it possible to prepare a syrup with the active ingredient METHIONINE? If so, how can I guarantee optimal stability?

Answer

I think methionine dissolves adequately in water. There could be a problem of sulfur odor that could be a reason not to prepare liquid form. Within my abilities I can only find that methionine would be subject to oxidation. So I would say NaEDTA add as well as nametabisulfite and use freshly cooked water. I hope that the taste does not make too big a problem.
